You’re my lucky charm!

This morning, we read the book St. Patrick’s Day written by Anne Rockwell and illustrated by Lizzy Rockwell. During our music and movement time, we played with balloons that were filled with confetti! We noticed that these balloons didn’t float as long as the balloons that we normally use and they also didn’t stick to our heads or the walls like the other balloons. The best part of playing with the balloons was popping them and playing with the confetti inside. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we used a dice and jacks to work on 1 to 1 correspondence. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we drew our own rainbows and talked about the colors in the rainbow! Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we practiced writing and tracing our names.
