“O” is for Owl!

This morning, we read the book Little Owl’s Night written by Dirya Srinivasan. During our music and movement time, we stretched our bodies with yoga and then danced to some fun songs! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we put together puzzles of nocturnal animals. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we made northern lights. We did this by pouring a little bit of milk into a dish, then added a few drops of food coloring, and then we added drops of dish soap. We watched as the colors swirled around together. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we made owls!
