Flip-Flops, Fireworks, and Freedom
Written By CLC Teachers
Today we read the book The Fourth of July written by Sonica Ellis and illustrated by Nejla Shojaie. This morning, during music and movement time, we had a fun obstacle course to go through! We walked on a line, did summersaults, and zig-zagged. During our math and cognition lesson, we used red, white and blue counters to make patterns. For our science and sensory lesson, we used playdough to make things we like to eat on the Fourth of July. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced our cutting skills.
