Have a Yankee Doodle Day
Today we read the book The Fourth of July written by Emma Carlson and illustrated by Luke Flowers. This morning, during music and movement time, we stretched our bodies with some yoga. During our math and cognition lesson, we sorted red, white, and blue counters by color. For our science and sensory lesson, we filled our sensory bin with red, white, and blue streamers. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced writing some 4th of July themed words!
