The Tiny Seed
Today we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See by Eric Carle. This book taught us the different colors that animals can be. For our sensory and science activity, we pretended that our paint sponges were shaped like a flower petals for us to make flowers. We made flowers all over all papers just like the flower that is on the cover of Eric Carle’s book The Tiny Seed. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to listen to the book Mister Seahorse that Eric Carle also wrote. During our math and cognition activity, we counted little bears and matched the correct colored bears to the correct spot on our little cards.

CLC will be closed this Friday, June 17th for our 5K Night Glow Run/Walk. Our event starts at 6:15pm with activities and then the race starts at 8pm.
