Brown Bear, Brown Bear
Today we read The Foolish Tortoise by Eric Carle. In this book, a tortoise learns how important a shell is to keep him safe. During our first activity, we used our math and cognition skills to match animals to the correct size and color. We matched each animals head to the rest of the animal’s body. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to practice writing the letter ‘K’ and we also found the letter ‘K’ mixed together with other letters. For our sensory and science activity, we played in our water sensory bin where we pretended to make a cool water experiment. We also had a water day today and we got to play in the sprinklers and pop some huge bubbles that our teachers blew for us.
