Swimming into Shark Week
This morning, we read the book Smiley Shark written and illustrated by Ruth Galloway. During our music and movement time, we made music with the rhythm sticks and then we danced. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we worked on 1 to 1 correspondence and number recognition. Next, for our science and sensory lesson we colored a shark! Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we wrote numbers and our names in black sand.

CLC will be closed from Monday, August 17th- Monday , August 24th for a Teacher Work Week. We will be back in session on Tuesday, August 25th, which is also the first day of the 2026-2027 school year.
