“F” is for Firework
This morning, we read the book Across the U.S.A with The Very Hungry Caterpillar. During our music and movement time, we moved and danced with Danny Go! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we use red, white and blue disks to make patterns. Next, for our science and sensory lesson we made fireworks in a jar. To do this we put some water and baby oil in a jar and added drops of food coloring. Then we added an Alka-Selzer tab, and watched as the colors went up and spread like a firework. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we traced and cut out our hands to made a Fourth of July picture.
