Celebrating freedom with our little firecrackers.
This morning, we read the book On the Fourth of July written by Maggie C. Rudd and illustrated by Elisa Chavarri. During our music and movement time, we had to navigate a red, white and blue teamed obstacle course! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we sorted pictures of fireworks by color. Next, for our science and sensory lesson we used star cookie cutters to make a star stamping picture. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we listened to a book on tape.

In observance of the Fourth of July, CLC will be closed on Thursday, July 2nd through Monday, July 6th. CLC will be back in session on Tuesday, July 7th.
