Soft vs Hard
Today we read Dot by Patricia Intriago. In this book, we learned a bunch of opposites such as up and down, loud and quiet, and happy and sad. During our sensory and science activity, we painted with two types of painting utensils. One of our things that we pained with was a soft roller to roll the paint across our papers and the other thing we painted with was a round hard sponge. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to listen to a book on tape. For our math and cognition activity, we counted and found the opposites on some counting clip cards. We first found the opposite before we counted.
