Red, White, & Blue
Today we read Fourth of July by Lynda Sorensen. In this book, we learned a lot more about the upcoming holiday and how there is always a bunch of American flags that get put out to show how we celebrate our freedom. During our first activity, we used our math and cognition skills to finish some red, white, and blue patterns. We used little circle chips to finish the patterns. Then we used our fine motor skills to practice our cutting skills on different lines. For our sensory and science activity, we played with playdough on some 4th of July mats. We made different types of foods that we can eat on the Fourth of July.
