Red Fish Blue Fish

Today we read the book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss. In this book, we learned about all the different fish that live in the world that Dr. Seuss made. For our literacy and fine motor activity, we made our letter of the week into a x-ray by gluing cotton swabs to our letter and we talked about how an x-ray can be used to see our bones in our bodies. Then we used our math and cognition skills to do a red fish, blue fish number matching game. During our sensory and science activity, we took a look in our Dr. Seuss sensory bin that was full of truffula trees and green grass just like Dr. Seuss’s book The Lorax.
