Ten Apples Up On Top
We’re already halfway through our Dr. Suess week. Today we read Dr. Suess’s book Ten Apples Up on Top. In this book, a dog, a tiger, and a lion all balance apples on their heads without them falling off. Our first activity that we did went along with our book and it was our math and cognition activity. We used paint and other colorful supplies to color and count the apples on top of the animals’ on our papers. For our sensory and science activity, we made a hot air balloon craft where we decorated the hot air balloon in and glued it onto it’s basket. We also used our literacy and fine motor skills to practice writing our names on both of our other activities.
