Making a Garden

Today we read In the Garden by Elizabeth Spurr. This book walked us through the process of planting different seeds in a garden and how it’s important to water them so that they can grow. During our math and cognition activity, we used stamp pads to make leaves on each flower stem. We counted the leaves as we made them. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to listen to The Night Before Mother’s Day by Natasha Wing where we learned how important it is to show our mother figures in our lives that we love them. For our sensory and science skills, we used toilet paper tubes to make pretty flowers using paint.
