Leaves
Today we read Little Raccoon Likes to Share by Mary Packard. While reading this book, we learned the importance of sharing with our friends and how fun it can be to share. For our math and cognition activity, we sorted leaves by size and then by color. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we practiced writing our names. We spelled out our names as our teachers helped us write them. Then we used our sensory and science skills to make playdough into birds nest and we pretended that little beads were eggs in the nests.
