“H” is for Helping Hands!
Today we read the book Lola at the Library written by Anna McQuinn and Rosalind Beardshaw. We would like to thank the Camdenton City Police Department for coming to CLC today! They talked to us about calling 911 in an emergency. They let us see their patrol car and they even turned on the sirens! We learned that when you hear the siren, that means help is on its way. During our math and cognition lesson, we put together community helper puzzles. Next, during our science and sensory lesson, we used an ink pad to examine the lines on our fingerprints. We learned that everyone’s fingerprints are different and unique. Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we traced the words “H is for helping hands” and then put a painted handprint on the paper.
