Rainforest Round-up
Fun Friday! Today we read the book “Slowly, Slowly, Slowly,” Said the Sloth by Eric Carle. In this book the animals of the rainforest come and see the sloth. They ask him why he is slow, quiet, boring, and lazy. After the sloth thinks about it, he tells them that these are good things because that finished our snake patterns to take home and practiced using basic shapes to make rainforest animals. For our sensory and science activity, we explored snake-like textures. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we practiced tracing lines to match animals.
