Fireworks and Hot Dogs

Terrific Tuesday! Today we read the book The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog by Mo Williams. After Pigeon finds a hot dog and gets ready to eat it, little duck shows up and stats asking about what a hot dog is like. Pigeon doesn’t want to give little duck his hot dog to try and gets frustrated. They solve their problem by splitting the hot dog in half and sharing making both friends happy. During our match and cognition activity, we counted hot dogs for the grill to match the number. During the sensory activity, we painted fireworks using cardboard tubes. For our literacy and fine motor activity, we listened to a book on tape.
