Feelings, Fireworks, and Fizz

Wondrous Wednesday! Today we read the book Happy Is… by Connie Colwell Miller. This book describes happy as a feeling that people at certain times. Daddy’s hug, playing with friends, puppy kisses, and spending time with people we love are ways to find this happy feeling. Being able to name our feelings is an important part of being healthy. During our math and cognition activity, we matched fireworks by color. During the science sensory activity, we tested chemical reactions by pouring colored vinegar onto baking soda shapes with droppers and watched them fizz! For our literacy and fine motor activity, we used bingo daubers to make the letter N.
