Frogs

Today we read Jump, Frog, Jump by Robert Kalan and illustrated by Byron Barton. In this book, we learned how frogs are able to jump up out of the water really fast. During our first activity, we used our sensory and science skills to paint using toy frogs. We dipped the feet of a frog into paint and them made him jump across the paper. For our math and cognition activity, we counted the number of turtles that were in our felt pond. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to listen to a book on tape. We listened to Wash Your Fins Baby Shark by John Bajet and learned that even baby shark has to stay clean.
