Fish Swimming

Today we read Frog by Wendy Perkins. In this book, we learned about the lifecycle of a frog and how they start as eggs and grow into tadpoles before becoming frogs. For our math and cognition activity, we matched different colored frogs to the correct colors as we matched them we talked about which colored frog was our favorite. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to practice writing the letter ‘I’ and we talked about some different words that start with our letter. During our sensory and science activity, we did a water lily science experiment. Our teachers took a paper that looked liked a folded up flower and placed it into some water and we got to watch it magically open up and look like a water lily.
