Exploring the World of Community Helpers
This morning, we read the book Career Day written by Anne Rockwell and illustrated Lizzy Rockwell. During our music and movement time, we went outside to play on the playground! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we looked at pictures of our community helpers and talked about how important each of their jobs are. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we put some vinegar in a sandwich bag and added a little baking soda. As it filled with gas, we were able to feel how full the of gas the bag go and we also noticed how cold the bag felt. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we made a police car!
