Cold and Snowy

Our book There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow by Lucille Colandro talked about how the snow is cold and what you can make with the snow. We talked about how we didn’t want anymore snow and only wanted warm weather. For our sensory and science activity, we played in our stormy sensory bin. There we a bunch of clouds, raindrops, and lighting bolts that we knew came from storms. Then we used our match and cognition skills to count raindrops and we pretended that they were falling from a cloud as we counted them. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we traced lines on our weather tracing pages. We traced the lines of a cloud, rainbow, sun, lighting bolt, and rain.
