Cloudy Skies

Today we read Let It Rain by Maryann Cocca-Leffler. In this book, we learned that in the Spring there can be a lot of rain. For our first activity, we used our literacy and fine motor skills to make our names into a rain craft. We put our letters of our names in order underneath a big white cloud. Then we used our math and cognition skills to match shapes to complete our paper plate suns. During our sensory and science activity, we made a snowstorm in a jar science experiment. Our teachers place a mixture of water and baby oil into our jar then they dropped in a tablet of alka seltzer to make it look like there was a snowstorm in our jar.
