Turkey Trouble

Today we read the book Turkey Trouble by Wendi Silvano. This book was about a turkey who did not want to be the Thanksgiving turkey. He tried to disguise himself as different farm animals. He had the brilliant idea to disguise myself as a pizza delivery man and ordered a pizza for Thanksgiving instead. For our math and cognition activity we put together big and small patterns. For our science and sensory time we used play-doh to cut out thanksgiving shapes such as; turkeys, pies, and pumpkins. Lastly, for fine motor and literacy time we practiced cutting.
