Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Friday!! Today we read the book How to Catch a Turkey by Adam Wallace. This book is about a turkey who tries to avoid being part of the school play. He tries to outsmart the school kids who are trying to catch him and bring him back to the stage. The turkey is chased all through the school until he runs back into the play and performs successfully. During our math and cognition activity, we used clothes pins with different colors on them to match the corresponding color on our turkeys. Then during our science and sensory activity, we explored a Thanksgiving sensory bin filled with feathers and pinecones. Then during our literacy and fine motor activity, we practiced our tracing skills. We also enjoyed all of our families who were able to join us for our Thanksgiving lunch!
