1 Fish 2 Fish Red Fish Blue Fish
Happy Wednesday everyone! We had so much fun yesterday! The book we read yesterday was called Monster Counting Book 1 to 20. In this book, we explored how to count from one to twenty with our monster friends for each number. It also showed us how many monsters and it asked questions, like how many monsters were blue for the number 3. For math and cognition activity, we had to unscramble numbers into the correct order. For sensory and science activity, we got to paint the number 2 with our colorful dotters. For literacy and fine motor activity, we listen to a counting song.
We had as much fun today as we did yesterday! The book we read today was 1 Fish 2 Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. In this book, we got to go on an adventure of counting with Dr. Suess imaginary and rhyming words. For our math and cognition activity, we had matching cards we had to count how many fingers were on the hand and we used a pom-pom to pick the one it was. Then for sensory and science activity, we did a science experiment with numbers, first we made number molds out of vinegar, baking soda, and water. After the molds dried, we put them in a bucket and used a pipettes to put water on top of the number molds and watched the numbers bubble up. For literacy and fine motor activity, we colored the letter ‘V’ for our letter of the week.
