Chicka Chicka 123
Happy Monday! This week we are learning about numbers! Today we read the book Chicka Chicka 123 by Bill Martin Jr. and Michael Sampson. In this story 101 numbers climb up a coconut tree but they all come tumbling down when a bee flies up the tree and scares them! During our math and cognition activity we counted out pompoms and placed them on our number cards. Then during our science and sensory activity we counted out water beads and placed them into different buckets. We also colored a number worksheet. We used different colors for each number. Then during our fine motor and literacy activity we practiced writing our names.
