Where the Wild Things Are
This morning we read the book Camp Rex written by Molly Idle. During music and movement time, we played catch together! For our math and cognition lesson, we matched camping themed items to their shadows. Then, during our science and sensory lesson, we filled our sensory bin with things we would find while camping, like bugs, sticks and leaves. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced tracing and we used push pins to “cut” out shapes. This activity helps to strengthen our 3 finger grip.
