We’re going on a trip in our Rocket Ship!
This morning, we read the book 8 Little Planets written by Chris Ferrie and illustrated by Lizzy Doyle. During music and movement time, we pretended that one of our friends was the sun and the rest of us were planets! We had to move in an orbit around the sun just like the planets in our solar system. During our math and cognition lesson, we matched space themed items. For our science and sensory lesson, we painted with marbles and colored a space picture. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced tracing and writing our names.
