We use our fingers to touch!

Our Elf came today and we named him Snowflake because it was snowing when he arrived from the North Pole! This morning, we read the book The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition written by Carol V. Aebersold, Chanda A. Bell and illustrated by Coe Steinwart. During our music and movement time, we pretended to ice skate by using paper plates! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we counted our body parts that help us with our five senses. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we used our fingers to paint with! The finger paints felt a little bit like jelly. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced writing and tracing our names.
