Happy Friday!! Today we read Flat Stanley Goes Camping by Jeff Brown. In this book, Flat Stanley went camping with his family and they had to make sure that they packed everything for their trip. We talked about how lots of families go camping during the summertime and how much fun it can be. For our sensory and science activity, we made yummy watermelon slices to decorate one of our doors with. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to do a fun summer tracing page. During our math and cognition activity, we recognized different ice cream shapes and colored them with the corresponding color that it asked us to color it with.

We wanted to remind everyone that we will be starting our water days in the next few days or so. Please bring in your child’s swimsuit, towel, water shoes, non-aerosol sunscreen, and swim diapers if need for us to be able to be kept here throughout the summer session.
