Sand Castles
Happy Thursday! Today we read The Sand Castle Contest by Robert Munsch. In this book a family went on a camping trip over the summer. At the camping spot there was a sand castle contest and the young boy built a huge sand castle and won the contest! We talked about how much fun it is to build sand castles at the beach! During our math and cognition activity we practiced making patterns with different colored stickers. Then for our sensory and science activity we played with play dough. Lastly, for our literacy and fine motor activity we used our cutting skills to cut along the lines of a summertime cutting worksheet!
~Important Upcoming Dates~
We wanted to remind everyone that we will be starting our water days in the next few days or so. Please bring in your child’s swimsuit, towel, water shoes, non-aerosol sunscreen, and swim diapers if need for us to be able to be kept here throughout the summer session.
