Wash your hands!

Today we read the book Froggy Goes to the Doctor written by Jonathan London and illustrated by Frank Remkiewicz. During our music and movement time, we danced to the Hokey Pokey and we sang our new bubblegum song! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we counted our teeth! Did you know that our amazing CLC kiddos have 20 teeth right now but when our baby teeth fall out and we get our adult teeth we will have 32 teeth! Next, during our science and sensory lesson, we learned why it is so important to wash our hands. Ms. Andrea “sneezed” in her hand and did not wash them before she started touching people and things in our classroom. We were able to see everything she touched and we saw that it was gross. We talked about what we need to do to keep our bodies happy and healthy as we cleaned all the “germs”. Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we listened to a book on tape.
