Valentine’s Day
Hello everyone, happy Tuesday and Happy Valentines Day! Today we had so many exciting things we did today. The book we read was called Olivia and the Perfect Valentine. In the story, we saw how Olivia made hearts for all her family and friends, and to show that she cared for them, she put what they loved in their hearts. After she handed all the hearts out, everyone was so happy and loved them, but right before she went to bed, she noticed she had forgotten her cat and dog and did not make them a heart. She was devastated, but her mom devised a plan by saying why don't you tell them you love them and give them treats.
For math and cognition, we got to count hearts, and then for science and sensory, we made homemade slime and got to play with it. Then for our literacy and fine motor skills, we got to listen to a valentine's story called Pete the Cat Valentine's is Cool. Then after that, we got to have our valentines party. We used the bags we made yesterday and got to put our gifts into each other's bags. We then got to eat lunch with our parents, who came to visit us.
