Heart Fishing

Happy Wednesday! Even though Valentine's is over, we are still not done talking about hearts and love. In the book Slugs in Love, we see two slugs write each other poems about how they like each other, but Herbie can not find Marylou, and he leaves a message on a tomato vine letter her know where to find him. In the end, they live happily ever after.

For math and cognition, we matched hearts together, so we had to find the big heart sides and put them together and the tiny heart sides and put them together. For sensory and science, we went heart fishing using a magnet tile like a fishing pole and saw how many fish we could get. Then, we traced our alphabet on heart paper for literacy and fine motor skills.
