Turkey
Today we read the book Run, Turkey, Run by Diane Mayr. In this book we learned how a turkey can escape Thanksgiving dinner! The turkey tried to disguise himself as a pig, duck and a horse but eventually hid in the woods. During our math and cognition activity, we pretended colored popsicle sticks were turkey feathers and we added the amount of popsicle sticks to our turkey card. During our science and sensory activity we made handprint turkeys. We also, played with snow! We used eye droppers to change our snow different colors. During our fine motor and literacy activity, we listened to a book on tape.
