Today we had our last water day for the summer! We had so much fun running through the sprinkler and enjoying the nice weather. We read Over in the Jungle by Marianne Berkes. In this book, we counted different rainforest animals as we read. For our math and cognition activity, we looked at different rainforest animals and recognized the different colors that they have. We learned that animals like birds and snakes can have more than one color and can be different colors. Then we used our sensory and science skills to look in our rainforest sensory bin. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we traced different lines to get to each rainforest animal.

CLC will be closed for our teacher work week on Monday, August 15th to Monday, August 22nd.
