The Cat and the Hat

Today we read the Cat and the Hat by Dr. Seuss. We had so much fun listening to this crazy story for our last day of learning about Dr. Seuss. For our sensory and science activity, we got out our colorful playdough and made all different types things with it. Our teachers called each of our friends names so that they could tell all of their friends what color of playdough they had by using their math and cognition skills. In our literacy and fine motor activity, we listen to a book on tape called Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss. This book was filled with many tongue-twisters and rhyming words that the characters can’t follow along with.
