Nursery Rhymes
This week we are going to learn and do crafts based around different nursery rhymes that we might know. Today we read a few nursery rhymes out of a book called The Real Mother Goose by Blanche Fisher Wright. We read Humpty Dumpty, The Cat and the Fiddle, and One, Two, Buckle My Shoe. During our sensory and science activity today, we painted a dish (paper plate) with a fork. Then we got out some farm animal stamps and made a farm just like Old McDonald’s Farm using our fine motor skills. For our math and cognition activity, we matched things that were in the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
