Thanksgiving is for giving thanks!
This morning, we read the book Thanksgiving is for Giving Thanks by Margaret Sutherland and illustrated by Sonja Lamut. During our music and movement time we played games of catch and tossed balls into bins at different heights. Next, during our math and cognition lesson we matched Thanksgiving themed pictures together. Then, during our science and sensory lesson we used playdough to make our favorite Thanksgiving pies. And finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson we practiced our cutting skills by cutting a picture of a pumpkin pie.
