Tent
Today we read a book called No Trouble at All by Sally Grindley. In this book, we learned how it is important to listen to the grown ups around us as we go camping so we can stay safe. We spent our morning after breakfast playing in the water outside. The water cooled us off as we were playing outside where it is warm. For our first activity, we used our math and cognition skills to match some s’mores. We matched each piece to make the sticky s’mores. Then we used our sensory and science skills to pretend that we were at a campground with our pretend tents and sleeping bags. We talked about how we could eat s’mores and sit by a campfire. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we talked about our letter of the week. We practice writing the letter ‘N’ on our worksheets.
