“T” is for Tree Frog!
This morning, we read the book Bear Snores On written by Karma Wilson and illustrated by Jane Chapman. During our movement and music time, we went outside and played on the playground! Next, for our math and cognition lesson, we matched missing shapes to complete a toucan bird. Then, during our science and sensory lesson, we made quicksand! We did this by adding water, cornstarch, and sand to a bowl. Then, we mixed it all up and we dropped fake snakes into the quicksand and watched them slowly sink. Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we made tree frogs!

CLC will be closed from Monday, August 17th-Monday, August 24th for our Teacher Work Week. We will be back in session on Tuesday, August 25th for the first day of the 2026 -2027 school year.
