Strong Roots Produce Beautiful Leaves
This morning, we read the book Tree written by Britta Teckentrup. During music and movement time, we made the biggest, best mess ever, we played with packing peanuts! It looked like we had a snowstorm inside and it was so much fun to make “snow angels” inside. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we used leaves to make simple patterns. Next, we used playdough during our science and sensory lesson, to make trees and different forest animals. Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced cutting out pictures of trees!
