Stars

Today we read Sun and Moon by Rosalind Mist. While reading this book, we learned how hot and dangerous the sun is and how the moon had many craters. During our first activity, we used our fine motor skills to practice our cutting skills. We used our scissors to cut out our four different pictures for our next activity. We used our math and cognition skills to finish the space patterns using those pictures we cut out. We said each of the patterns out loud so we could figure out what was next. For our sensory and science activity, we made different things that can be found in space using putty. We made planets, stars, astronauts, and even a rocket ship.
