Sense of Sight

Today we read Baby Touch and Feel First Words by DK Publishing. While reading this book, we used our sense of sight and feel to feel the pictures of the book. For our math and cognition activity, we did a five senses matching game. We matched the different pictures for each of our senses. Then we used our sensory and science skills to do a lava lamp science experiment. Our teachers mixed colored water and oil in a cup then they added an alka-seltzer tablet and we watched the experiment bubbly up like a lava lamp. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we made our letter N creation. We made our letter ‘N’ into a night sky full of stars.
