Sea Turtles
Happy Friday! Today we read Smiley Shark by Ruth Galloway. In this book, every ocean creature was scared of Smiley Shark’s teeth until he helped them out of a net that they got trapped with. For our sensory and science activity, we played in our ocean sensory bin. Our sensory bin was filled with sand and sea shells just like we would find on the beach. Then we used our math and cognition skills to recognize the different colors that fish can be. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we traced a few jellyfish that had numbers on the top part of them.
