Rainbows Everywhere
Happy Friday! Today we read There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Clover by Lucille Colandro. The old lady in this book swallowed a bunch of different things from St. Patrick’s day until she spits it all back out and makes a rainbow. During our sensory and science activity, we used playdough to make the different things that our book talked about including a rainbow, a clover, and a pot of gold. Then we used our math and cognition skills to match one half of a shamrock to the correct other half. We also recognized the different letters that were on our shamrocks using our literacy and fine motor skills. Next week we are learning about our health and hygiene.
