This morning, we read the book Pick a Pumpkin, Mrs. Millie! written By Judy Cox and illustrated by Joe Mathieu. During music and movement time, we had a Halloween Dance Party! Then, Ms. Katie from the Health Department came to talk to us about apples. We were able to taste red, yellow, and green apples. Next, during our math and cognition lesson, we sorted “eyeballs” by color. Then, for our science and sensory lesson, we used playdough and pumpkin cookie cutters to make a playdough pumpkin patch! Finally, during our literacy and fine motor lesson, we practiced our cutting skills using scissors.
