Today we read Little Pea by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. In this book, we learned what foods a pea likes to eat so we talked about what we like to eat and learned that a chef cooks food. During our sensory and science activity, we made community helper faces using playdough. We made the face for a police officer and a firefighter. Then we used our fine motor skills to practice our cutting skills. We cut some different lines to get up to the different community helpers. For our math and cognition activity, we finished different community helper patterns.
